The Bad News

When it rains, it pours, and Belize is suffering. Flooding has taken out 40 houses in Dangriga and the bridge to Seine Bight. Pretty tough times, again. Blankets, kids and adult clothing and shoes of all sizes are in the need again. We traveled down last weekend only to find flooding so bad that our tiny rented car couldn't make it through the high water crossings. Hint: Hundai Atos and Belize are not a good combination!

Rain is forcast to continue this week; Cancun is flooding mildly, too. Someone calls to quote 'Out of Africa' with the "God is happy, Sabu. He plays with us" quote.

The Good News

Nancy Meyers, of Giveatoygetasmile.org has given us a bunch of clothing to take down. She's also hooked us up with TripAdviser.com and given us a tutorial on Paypal, asking tourists for 'bring with' clothing donations and introduced us to a bunch of like minded people. Thanks Nancy!

Outstanding support from the film crew. On top of donations at the wrap party of some US$ 1,200 our Mexico Crew came up with some cash - Ronald Matthew and Yolanda Gonzalez each donated a day of pay to the cause.
